Felicity Jones and Nicholas Hoult replace Amber Heard and Zac Efron in Autobahn

Car chase thriller “Autobahn” has gone through yet another casting change, but looks finally ready to go before cameras. Felicity Jones is now onboard as the female lead, replacing Amber Heard and joining Nicholas Hoult, who himself replaced Zac Efron. But the film is finally happening a year after being announced, with filming set to begin on May 5th and a supporting cast including Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley.
Hoult and Jones will play a young American couple backpacking through Europe who find themselves fleeing from some bad guys when his job as a pickup driver for some German drug smugglers goes horribly wrong. F. Scott Frazier wrote the script and Eran Creevy will be directing.
Jones will next be seen in Stephen Hawking biopic “Theory of Everything” opposite Eddie Redmayne and a badly-kept secret role in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ set to premiere tomorrow. She’s also wrapped true life crime thriller “True Story” with Jonah Hill and James Franco and will next play the title role in revisionist “Romeo and Juliet” rom com “Rosaline.” She recently signed on to play one of the leads in JA Bayona’s adaptation of Patrick Ness’ “A Monster Calls.”
