The Kid Is Not His Son: MJ 'Lovechild' News Round-Up

Brandon Howard's REAL Father: My Son Planned MJ Drama To Boost Career

Singer Augie Johnson has declared that HE is the real father of Brandon Howard -- the Michael Jackson impersonator who claims to be the King of Pop's love-child.

Augie, 65, was one of the backing singers on Jackson's 1979 breakthrough album, "Off The Wall," and went on form the band, Side Effect. And speaking to MailOnline today, Augie -- who was in a long-term relationship with Brandon's mom, singer Miki Howard -- said he very much considers Brandon, now 31, to be his natural son.

Augie had two sons with Miki, Brandon and Nicholas, and breaking his silence on the rumors that Brandon could be the late superstar's son, he said: "I KNOW Brandon's my son -- I was there in the delivery room, I have the pictures of him being born. I got the records, I got everything.

"Before me, Miki wasn't with anyone else -- she didn't even know Michael at that time. But you know what, I love my son and he can do whatever he likes. I'm not tripping on this. I want Brandon to have a successful career."

When asked if he would be happy to take a DNA text himself, Augie said: "Oh yeah! That's not a problem. My name is on his birth certificate, when people talk to me, I tell them the truth. I know my son. He's got a lot of drama going on."

Augie continued: "Brandon just happens to be one of those kids -- the wannabe Michael kids -- his whole life. He loved Michael Jackson so much.

"He wanted to look more like him and he had a little success in Japan, that’s where this whole thing started. It became this mystery that he would never answer.

"It's been a plan for a long time, he wants to help his career, that's what I believe.

"Any kind of controversy that gets out there in the world, right now, helps."

Miki Howard joined Side Effect as a 16-year-old singer, and asked about any romance with Michael, Augie said: "She was never romantically involved with Michael. He didn't even know her."

Now friendly again with Miki, Augie said he spoke to her today, adding: "Miki thinks Brandon is losing his mind!"

The last time Augie spoke to Brandon was yesterday and he said: "He keeps saying it’s not him… he sounded distraught and said 'I don't know why people are saying this! These people want me to be Michael!'

"But my son's a good actor.... I say, 'Brandon, do what you gotta do.' Today's world is so crazy, I'm just glad he's not in a sex video!"

Asked about Brandon, Howard Weitzman, Jackson's estate lawyer, told TMZ: "We've never even heard from him," when asked about Howard's claim. He added that "any deadline for claiming to be Michael's child has long since passed."

The Jackson family have faced previous claims by people who believed they were the offspring of the star, who died in June 2009.

At the time of Michael’s death, he was named in more than six lawsuits, and 65 creditors’ claims were filed after he died.

Michael Jackson's Alleged Son -- DNA Test Results Bogus ... Ripped from 'Terminator' Movie

Here's a shocker -- the DNA test results that allegedly prove 31-year-old Brandon Howard is Michael Jackson's son are BOGUS ... in fact, so bogus ... the logo from the so-called DNA testing lab was ripped from "Terminator Salvation."

As we reported, FilmOn.com's Alki David put on a spectacle Thursday -- claiming he had DNA results proving singer B Howard was the biological son of the King of Pop. He then produced the results showing a "99.99999%" probability that MJ was Brandon's dad.

TMZ obtained a photo of the DNA doc -- allegedly from a testing facility in Ireland called "DNA Lab." We searched high and low but could find no such generic DNA lab in Ireland.

Skeptical, we investigated -- a simple Google image search of "DNA results" turns up a bunch of sample docs with the same exact easily-stealable format as the one we got.

But the coup de grace -- we then Google image searched "DNA logo" and the first result ... literally ... was the same DNA pic used in the "DNA Lab" logo.

And that's not even the best part -- a reverse image search of the logo shows a bunch of results for "Terminator Salvation." A little more digging revealed the logo was used on PROMOTIONAL T-SHIRTS for the movie.

Can't say we're all that shocked.

Michael Jackson DNA Test -- Lab Say NO MJ DNA!
B Howard is NOT related to ANY Jackson!

The man behind the Michael Jackson DNA test initially went to an L.A. lab ... and TMZ has learned the lab results showed NO DNA on Michael Jackson's dental mold.

A manager at DNA Truth 4 U lab tells TMZ ... last month Alki David's people took the dental mold to the lab, along with a water bottle, a black towel and cigarette butts to test them. Alki's people told the lab the other items contained the DNA from Jermaine and Tito.

The lab report -- obtained by TMZ -- shows the dental mold document titled "Alleged Father." The other items were all titled "Alleged Uncle."

The lab report shows NO DNA was recovered from the 31-year-old dental mold, so the test could not be performed. The only one that had any DNA was the black towel -- and it showed NO relation to B Howard.

Translation -- B Howard is NOT related to ANY Jackson.

A source connected to Alki David tells TMZ ... Alki didn't trust the lab and that's why he says they went to a DNA lab in Ireland.

Alki says the Ireland lab recovered DNA from the mold and then determined there was a DNA match with B Howard.

Man Behind FAKE MJ DNA Also Behind the George Zimmerman Boxing Match

Alki David -- the owner of FilmOn.com -- is a self-described "Serial Killer Media Entrepreneur." He made headlines Thursday, when he held a press conference (streamed on his website) to announce he had proof Michael Jackson was the biological dad of MJ-impersonator Brandon Howard.

David said the DNA tests showed there was a 99.9999% probability that Howard was sired by Jackson. According to TMZ, David claims he bought an old dental impression used by Michael Jackson. It was auctioned off by the Beverly Hills dentist who used to treat the pop star, David said.

A Los Angeles lab that tested the dental mold found no DNA on it, TMZ reported. David also brought in what he said were DNA samples from Jackson’s brothers Jermaine and Tito.

But none of the samples were a match to Howard -- meaning he’s not related to any Jackson.

When the L.A. lab didn’t return the results David wanted, he sent the dental mold to a different lab in Ireland that was able to find DNA, he claimed. And that DNA matched B Howard's, he insisted.

But when TMZ got a copy of the so-called DNA results, the story started to unravel. There’s no genetic testing lab in Ireland called “DNA Lab,” the company name on the results, TMZ said. And the logo was quickly identified as a fictitious creation straight from the movies.

This isn't the first time Alki David has been involved in questionable, attention-grabbing headlines and events.

Just last month, FilmOn.com said it secured the rights to the controversial George Zimmerman "celebrity" boxing match ... after the original promoter pulled out because of threats made against his kids.

According to TMZ, Alki David and FilmOn.com are gonna give the public what it wants -- "a very bloody event." David said that rapper DMX is out as the challenger because "much bigger names than DMX" want in.

CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox Broadcasting and their studios won a temporary restraining order against David's FilmOn.com in November 2010 to prevent unlicensed use of their broadcast signals.
