Mad Men Final Season to be Split in Two

That's right, the producers of Mad Men have taken a fly leaf from the film industry and are splitting the seventh and final season into two separate parts of seven episodes each, for a total of 14 episodes. The first seven will premier on April 13th, and the second seven will premiere in 2015.

Way to go to extend the ending!

The Season 7 teaser features Don Draper descending the stairs of a TWA flight onto a deserted tarmac, while Doris Day's "Que Sera, Sera" is heard in the background. Appropriate not only as a herald to the ending of the series, but the fact that the series started filming the final season at Los Angeles International Airport in November -- the same day  a shooting in Terminal 3 left a TSA guard dead.

The recent release of the Season 7 Promo poster, which features a graphic by Milton Glaser that bears a distinct likeness to Peter Max and other psychedelic artwork ,suggests that the season will be going full swing into the acid age, from 1966 - 1969.
