Alana Haim has invited Damon Albarn to collaborate with her and her sisters.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the keyboardist said that Haim, who won the Best International Band prize at the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas earlier this week (February 26), would be keen to work with the Blur and Gorillaz man in the future.
"If Damon ever wants to work with us, we're available," she said, before going on to discuss winning the Best Band Blog or Twitter. "I wanted to win Best Twitter so bad, it probably means more than the band trophy," she said. "I was trying to think of cool tweets for the past couple of weeks, to influence voters."
Other big winners at this week's ceremony, which was held at Brixton O2 Academy, included Blondie, Damon Albarn and Lily Allen. Performances came from The Horrors and Drenge plus Metronomy, who opened the show by performing 'Love Letters', from their forthcoming new album of the same name, with MKS. Belle & Sebastian played 'I Want The World To Stop' and 'The Boy With The Arab Strap'.
Arctic Monkeys dominated the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas, however, picking up five awards including Best British Band, Best Live Band and Best Album for 'AM'.
