this morning when she posted her cover of leave a light on was the first time i heard her sing because i'm not watching glee for any fucking thing.

and i was like, "well damn what am i missing"

and on top of that she's also a really good dancer

she gave me my life this season of dwts

Yaaass!! I was rooting so hard for her on this show.

She was so flawfree. Deserved that win!

I literally only listen to her solo covers and make sure I get them even though I've only seen season 1, her skill is FANTASTIC - Aretha herself can't even do the inflections she can on Ain't No Way and Bridge Over Troubled Water. What a queen.

I love that one. She has a very light, princess-y tone when she's not coloring it to sound more mature and r&b appropriate. She's just a very versatile singer.

I was hoping she'd release Leave A Light On. She sounds amazing, but I think I like the chorus better when it's sung by two people.

I love Amber but so happy she gave Leave a Light on away. Her demo is BORING and her delivery on the middle 8 is just blech.

Aww, why do you think Jennifer Hudson is unlikable? I don't really follow her but she just seems boring to me not unlikable.

She's a snooze-fest, and she does do nice charitable things, but I get like slight bitchy vibes from her. Plus there were rumors during Dreamgirls that she was more stuck-up than Beyonce was.
