Anybody can give flowers and chocolate -- Avicii's gift this Valentine's Day is much more unique. Just in time for Feb. 14, the Swedish hitmaker has released the official music video for his new single, "Addicted to You," and only Us Weekly has the exclusive premiere!
The song, which features vocals by the Adele-esque Audra Mae, is a foot-stomping anthem about passionate, obsessive love -- and Avicii's sexy, action-packed video reflects that. Conceived and directed by Sebastian Ringler, the three-and-a-half-minute clip plays like a movie trailer for a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired period piece, but with two girls as the trouble-making lovebirds.
The leading ladies in question are Hedda Steirnstedt and Madeleine Martin, two well-known actresses in Avicii's native Sweden, where the video was filmed over six days in December and January. Armed with both guns and sex appeal, the femme fatales wreak havoc all over the country to a soulful, synth melody.
"Addicted to You" is the fourth single off of Avicii's hit album True. He recently announced a tour in North America to promote the record, with concert dates in Boston, Washington, D.C., New York, and Chicago, among others.
