Kim Kardashian’s fiancé Kanye West released his first solo album, The College Dropout, ten years ago today! So to celebrate, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star commemorated Kanye’s rap anniversary with an Instagram post of the album cover.
"10 years ago today Kanye released his 1st album The College Dropout! This was a game changer! Could only imagine what you were thinking and feeling today 10 years ago!" she wrote. "Happy anniversary to the best producer/artist over the past decade!!!!"
She continued, “"Can't wait for the next 10 years! Gonna be listening to this album all day. #TheCollegeDropout #ChangedHipHop."
Kanye has come a long way since the celebrated album, which included big hits like ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘All Falls Down’ and ‘Slow Jamz’.
Kanye was only 26 when The College Dropout debuted, and he explained the title and overall theme to MTV News, saying: “"All that's saying is make your own decisions. Don't let society tell you, 'This is what you have to do.'"
Well it seems Yeezy is still doing his own thing, and has since released six more popular albums.
