1. Next Walking Dead Episode "Just Around the Corner"

The second chapter of episodic point-and-click series The Walking Dead: Season Two, is "just around the corner," developer Telltale Games teased on Twitter today.

The accompanied image, shown above, features the season's young protagonist Clementine along with the words "Still. Not. Bitten." The Walking Dead: Season Two centers on Clem, who starred in the game's First Season, and follows her fight to survive in the zombie apocalypse and her interactions with other survivalists.

2. No Resident Evil Movie this Year

Despite prior reports to the contrary, Resident Evil 6 will not be ready for a September 2014 release. In fact, it now seems unlikely the movie will arrive in 2014 at all.

Paul W.S. Anderson wrote all five Resident Evil scripts and directed all but 2007’s Resident Evil: Extinction. At a press junket for his upcoming disaster epic Pompeii, Anderson confirmed his interest in a sixth film with Collider but said, “we’d like to do another Resident Evil movie. Definitely. But the wheels aren’t quite in motion yet.”

3. Castle Doctrine Review

My only recourse, should I choose to continue playing The Castle Doctrine, would be to start over. Suicide, in the game's terms. A robbery gone wrong, and the man of the house takes his own life. Ripped from the headlines for your amusement. There's a button to facilitate your suicide. It is clearly marked.

The Castle Doctrine is a statement game, to be sure, but the statement seems to be that the only way to win is to not play The Castle Doctrine.

4. Fable Anniversary Review

Fable Anniversary’s personality has proved truly ageless, even if some of its mechanics haven’t. Inevitably, its doesn’t feel as fresh today as they did in 2004, but the strange and beautiful world of Albion, with all its weird idiosyncrasies and wildly varied accents, is as absorbing and lovably, peculiarly British as it ever was.

5. Bravery Default Review

Bravely Default is proof that you can mix classic and modern design successfully. It knows exactly what makes the genre great — the constant emphasis on leveling and improving, of fighting ever more powerful foes until you acquire an almost god-like status, all while opting to let the player decide the particulars of their experience. It feels like the product of many years dedicated to the crafting of JRPGs — and the team at Square Enix and Silicon Studio have nailed it this time.

The week before the Super Bowl, while members of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks were celebrating and dining in New York City, Broncos linebacker Nate Irving had other plans.

"I'm actually going to sit in my hotel room, play my Pokemon game," Irving told The Wall Street Journal.
