1. Rare NES Game gets $99,000 Bid, Bidder Says it Was a Mistake
"The unfortunate reality is the second I approached the winning buyer with payment options, they retracted their bid claiming it was a 'mistake,'" Muresan told Destructoid. "I'm not offering the item to other bidders in the auction to see if any of them are honorable individuals. It may take me a while but that's about all I can do for now. It would be nice if eBay were more seller-friendly, rather than 100 percent buyer protection focused."
2. Assasin's Creed 3: Liberation Update Review
Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD presented Ubisoft with an opportunity to fix the mistakes that dragged down the original PS Vita version of the game — to wring out more of the promise that existed in an often broken and frustrating experience. But for the second time, Liberation fails to deliver.
Ubisoft has improved Liberation's looks in the transition from the PS Vita to the Xbox 360, but they only took those improvements so far. Liberation HD is still full of blurry textures and goofy-looking animation, failing to match or approach Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag or even Assassin's Creed 3.

5. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Review
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition brings two notable improvements with it to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All of the original release's downloadable content is included. This would be more noteworthy, save that Tomb Raider's DLC offerings were limited a handful of maps for its forgettable multiplayer mode and additional outfits for Lara.
More impressively, Tomb Raider's already excellent visuals benefit from the added power of next-gen hardware. The islands of the Dragon's Triangle are more dense with foliage and wreckage, a small change that adds additional life to the environment. Character models have also received some work, and Lara in particular expresses emotions more realistically as she explores.

7. Farcrey 4 In Development, May hit Wii-U
Plagnal is credited as "Content Director on the next Far Cry," a position he's held since September of 2013. Ubisoft has yet to formally announce Far Cry 4, but has stated openly that we'll see sequels in the future. Ubisoft Shanghai contributed to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, as well as worked on the Wii U port of Splinter Cell Blacklist. Perhaps Ubisoft is planning to round out its roster of AAA Wii U titles?
8. Candy Crush Developers Continue to be Shitheads
The CEO of King, the Candy Crush Saga developer that has been taking heat recently for its trademark of the word "candy," has published an open letter in which he addresses the company's handling of trademarks and allegations that it cloned a competing game.
King recently made headlines after it was granted a trademark on the word "candy" in Europe and began pursuing the same trademark in the United States, resulting in numerous developers being asked to change their products' names. Among those affected is Stoic Studio, the maker of The Banner Saga; King is opposing its attempt to file a trademark on Banner Saga due to King's line of games having "Saga" in the name. King says it isn't trying to stop Stoic from using the Banner Saga name and that it's merely doing what it must to protect its trademarks .

2 oz Hpnotiq
.75 oz Gin
.25 oz Lime Juice
Club soda to fill
This episode on my Geek & Sundry vlog, Critical Hit Cocktails, I decided to make a drink after one of my favorite ice Pokemon, Articuno! The Articuno cocktail is cool, flavorful, and smooth. While chilling the drink with Ice Beam is preferable, but shaking over ice and pouring over a big ol’ ice cube will work as well.
