Selena Gomez home intruder arrested

Selena Gomez dealt with a weekend run-in with police, but it had nothing to do with her embattled ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

While the Canadian singer dealt with his Miami arrest and jail stint, Los Angeles police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of trespassing at Gomez's California home.

A family member at the Gomez household called 911 Saturday after seeing an intruder on their property in the Tarzana area, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

Juan Daniel Garcia, of El Mirage, Ariz., was taken into police custody at the 21-year-old "Come and Get It" singer's pad.

It's unclear if Gomez was home at the time, police officials said, but Garcia reportedly told them he was there to see her.

Police don't know if the man has a lawyer and a telephone number for him couldn't be located, according to The AP.

Gomez and her family also have a three-year restraining order against another man accused of threatening to kill her and traveling from Illinois to meet her. A judge granted it in January 2011.
