Madonna’s manager and business partner Guy Oseary has been named number 38 on the 2014 Billboard Power 100. During his interview he had a very short, but exciting quote about Madonna’s next studio album:
As U2 readies a new album for late spring/early summer and a reunion with longtime label Island Records, Madonna is preparing a return to the studio for the follow-up to 2012’s MDNA (“She’s eager to get started,” Oseary says), while he’s poised to take on an even broader role with Live Nation under Michael Rapino (No. 4). “We have a lot of great ideas and plans for the future. I’m excited for us to get started soon.”
It’s been teased and hinted at for the last few weeks, but Madonna and Grammys.com have officially confirmed that she will be performing at the upcoming Grammy Awards which will take place this sunday night, January 26 in Los Angeles.
After a recent foot injury which left her on crutches for a few days, Madonna is back in her dancing shoes and will appear as a special guest performer. Rumors state that she will perform with Beyonce, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
Madonna left for Los Angeles from New York last night, and she is scheduled to be rehearsing today and tomorrow in preparation for Sunday night’s events.
