Composer John Williams is the most Oscar nominated living person

Composer, conductor and pianist, John Williams, continues his streak of having the most nominations of any living person. He garnered his 49th nod for best original score for The Book Thief. (The most in history? That honor goes to Walt Disney with 59.)

In the video:
- Star Wars is mentioned as the bestselling filmscore of all time
- He talks briefly about his friendship with Steven Spielberg; he asked Spielberg to find somebody else to compose the music for Schindler's List because he felt Spielberg needed "a better composer" for the film

Happy for him! Loved his film scores for Memoirs of a Geisha and Harry Potter.
