If you thought Matt Bomer's perfectly coiffed hair was what made him such a hunk, this is clear proof that you're wrong.
The hot Hollywood actor, who is known for his gorgeous locks, opted to shave them off (we couldn't tell you why, but we're not mad), and debuted the new buzzed look today during his panel for HBO's 2014 Winter TCA Press Tour in Pasadena. Gasp!
Fear not. The short haircut doesn't decrease Bomer's sex appeal in the slightest. In fact, it only made it that much easier to appreciate those baby blue eyes of his.
The 36-year-old actor was joined by Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, Jim Parsons, and Taylor Kitsch, as well as director Ryan Murphy, to promote their new film The Normal Heart.
The drama tells the story of the onset of the HIV-AIDS crisis in New York City in the early 1980s, taking a look at the nation's sexual politics as gay activists and their allies in the medical community fight to expose the truth about the burgeoning epidemic to a city and nation in denial.
"We never went after anyone based on sexuality," Murphy said during the panel in reference to casting Bomer and Parsons.
The film, which is an adaptation of a Tony Award-winning play of the same name, premieres on HBO in May.
