Mandy Moore was named by Who What Wear as one of the Biggest 50 Style Stars of 2013, alongside fashionistas such as Alexa Chung and Miranda Kerr.
But on Friday the 29-year-old looked style-free as she picked up basic household supplies at Whole Foods in Los Feliz. The actress was almost unrecognizable in ripped jeans, and white T-shirt and unbrushed copper colored locks as she ambled into her Prius.
The Candy singer was seen lugging two bags of goods - one red and one green - and a large supply of bathroom tissue as well as a fire engine red purse. Her snake print sneakers were her only accessory that screamed celebrity.
Her domestic side has likely blossomed a bit more since her marriage to Ryan Adams, whom she wed in March 2009 in Savannah, Georgia.
Last year, the Walk to Remember star was reportedly working on a new album in collaboration with the Whiskeytown singer. 'It felt like a no-brainer,' Moore told the Wall Street Journal in 2012. 'I’m not trying to play a different role but with him I get a different sound, a different way of writing and I like that.'
Moore said that her album was going to focus on the transition from single to married life, especially when it comes to home. 'He certainly inspires me,' Mandy said of her husband to CBS News. 'There's tremendous influence right now around the house - from the music I've been introduced to, and being very happy and in a healthy, happy relationship. 'I think that still garners a lot of material to write about.'
The beauty has a lot to express. 'There's a lot to say and a lot that's happened to me in the last three or so years since the last record's come out,' she added. The How to Deal star's last album, Amanda Leigh, dropped in 2009, just after she wed Ryan.
'So I have been writing a lot and it's definitely going to be an intense, emotional record,' Mandy said. 'I'm excited about it. I'm excited to get into the studio and start recording.' It is still unknown when the album that she spoke of last year is to be released.
Since 2009 she has recorded songs for the film Tangled and starred as Mara in the TV series TRON: Uprising.
In March, it was reported that the Princess Diaries stunner will be cast in the female lead role in the CBS/Warner Brothers Television drama pilot, The Advocates.
According to Deadline.com, 'It centers on lawyer Shannon Carter (Moore) and ex-con Henry Bird (McKenzie), who team up as victim advocates, going to the very edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog.'
In July, Life & Style reported that Mandy has her sights set on expanding her family with Ryan.
'I definitely want a couple of my own [kids],' she told the publication. 'But I’d like to adopt as well!'
The couple did not claim to have a set timeline and had not decided where to adopt from, but either way, she explained, 'There are many children out there that need a nice loving home and future.'
