How did the world end in Bong Joon-Ho's highly anticipated post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer? An extended animated clip has been released, providing the backstory on how the catastrophic ice age began and depicts the first departure of the train following the tragic events that ensues as the people desperately fought each other over the only safe refuge.

Based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, the film marks Bong's English-language debut with a cast that includes Chris Evans, Song Kang-Ho, Ko Asung (who narrates the animated prequel as her character, Yona), Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Alison Pill, John Hurt, and Ed Harris.

Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.

Praying to the Lawd Almighty that her editorial shoot would be a high-fashion retrospective of her previous film characters like Jadis, Gabriel, Orlando, Elizabeth Abbott, Emma Recchi, and Eva Khatchadourian. Obviously, my flaw-free androgynous alien goddess kween slaying fashion magazine covers better than your basic bitch faves. Lbr, they could never reach her superior perfection. And no Hollywood actress--absolutely no lesser bitch--can rock the blonde DragonBall Super Saiyan Goku/Vegeta hairdo and make it look super couture and fierce like she does. Also so fucking excited for "Snowpiercer" that I need this film to be released like yesterday, gdi!

P.S. This post is dedicated to another fabulous Tilda stan here on ONTD, agatharuncible. Hay gurl haayyyy!!! <3
