ONTD's Queens pick their next basic single <3

Rihanna chooses "Right Now" as next single!

“Right Now” is a song by Barbadian singer-songwriter Rihanna recorded for her seventh studio album “Unapologetic” that was released on November 19, 2012 via Def Jam Records. The song credits French disk-jockey David Guetta as a featured artist, whom also wrote the track alongside Rihanna, Terius Nash, Mikkel S. Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Shaffer Smith, Giorgio Tuinfort and Nick Rotteveel. It’s planned to be released as the fourth official single from the album and scheduled to release in British market on June 24. Upon the release of the album, “Right Now” charted on several charts worldwide.
The song is fairly generic and easy to like from the first listen. It was pretty obvious that would be the next single when many European radio stations are already adding the song in their playlist and skip “Pour It Up” for being “too urban“.

Taylor Swift chooses "Everything Has Changed (Feat. Ed Sheeran)" as next single

“Everything Has Changed” is a song recorded by American country singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, taken from her fourth studio album “Red” that was released on digital retailers on October 22, 2012 via Big Machine Records. It has the collaboration of English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran who co-write the track with Swift. The track was produced by Butch Walker. It’s confirmed as the fifth official single from the album and according Music Week website, it’s planned to release in UK on June 24.
The track is a country pop song in an acoustic style. The lyrical content finds Swift and Sheeran falling in love and finding the things round them are changing after they first met. The song has received positive reviews from music critics, who praised the song-writing and premise of the song. “Everything Has Changed” was anticipated from both critics and listeners as Swift rarely does collaborations. Without doubt, one of the songs that has more potential to function properly in the charts. This will be the singer’s second attempt to conquer the mainstream charts with a country song, after the low international success with her first try from the album with the official second single “Begin Again“.

Jennifer Lopez confirms new single "Live It Up"

Once again, i’m wanting to dance again on the floor, of course. And what better way to do it with Jennifer Lopez. The singer is almost ready to start promoting what will be her eighth studio album (tenth if you count the 2012 “Greatest Hits” and the remix CD “J to tha L–O! The Remixes”) to be released this summer through Epic Records.
The singer has been surrounded again for her good luck charm, the hitmaker RedOne. The song entitled “Live It Up” is written by herself in collaboration with RedOne and Cory Rooney (one of the producers who have worked with Lopez from its beginnings in the world of music and co-writer hits like: “Jenny from the Block“, “I’m Real“, “Ain’t It Funny” or “Get Right“). The single will impact American radios in early May and will be released on iTunes on May 8, 2013. The song has guest vocals of her usual collaborator, American rapper and songwriter Pitbull.
