Adele Being Approached for Multi-Million Dollar Cosmetics Deal

Adele is a beauty through and through and so it’s only natural that cosmetic giants like Estée Lauder, L’Oréal and Dior and gunning to have her represent their respective brands.

According to The Sun, the sum to have the ‘Skyfall’ songstress represent their labels has reached as high as $15 million! Since the money is so big, Adele is seriously considering the offer.

A source reportedly said, “Adele is in big demand. She would only accept if the campaigns were to her taste and incorporate her music,” they continued, “The last thing she wants is a cheesy ad with a naff catchphrase.” So we’re guessing “Easy, breezy, beautiful CoverGirl” is totally out of the question.

So will she or won’t she?! The source remarked, “It’s going to take a lot of persuasion to get her to agree but, right now, it looks as if she’s close to signing a deal.” We understand that Adele doesn’t want to water down her image, but these brands are some of the most well-regarded in the industry. She certainly won’t be peddling some no-name brand with shady reputation, that’s for sure. And $15 million is a lot of moola! That would set up little Angelo (or whatever his real name is) for the rest of his life!

We would love to see Adele as a face of a cosmetics brand since she is a little left of center of the typical models for campaigns of this nature! In 2013, different is beautiful!

I wonder which company it'll be? Her makeup is always on point.
skonka 23rd-Mar-2013 03:48 pm (UTC)
Lmao... She basically dips her face in paint
tundrabeast 23rd-Mar-2013 05:05 pm (UTC)
wow u must be so knowledgeable about makeup tell us more
mhfromnh 23rd-Mar-2013 05:37 pm (UTC)
I'm going to let you know, that eyeliner is real easy to screw up; I have a very steady hand and still wind up with two completely differently-lined eyes.
katiefitch 23rd-Mar-2013 03:50 pm (UTC)
i think it'll probably be estee lauder
georgie_georgie 23rd-Mar-2013 03:52 pm (UTC)
probably high end.
thelovehater 23rd-Mar-2013 04:06 pm (UTC)
L'Oreal is the only one that would make sense to me.

Unless she becomes the first celebrity to endorse Burberry make up - which would actually be very cool.
beatlesluv 23rd-Mar-2013 05:10 pm (UTC)
It's gotta be an old house imo one that has really good reds/does the kind of makeup she does.
OK I thought in my head of Dior before I looked up and saw those were being named. I think it's Dior - they had that entire line of Marilyn Reds and she has that elegant look. And they tend to like really pale skinned ladies at Dior too so it fits.
yukimag 23rd-Mar-2013 10:40 pm (UTC)
I hope it's Dior. I think it would suit her.

idgi, is that shade at Beyonce or Adele? Maybe I'm missing the joke :\
gaybash 23rd-Mar-2013 05:08 pm (UTC)
She's saying with adele's face on beyonce's body, it looks like celine dion. And with Beyonce's face on Adele's body it looks like ursula from lil mermaid.

Beyonce fans are so dumb.
lovebats 23rd-Mar-2013 05:03 pm (UTC)
she was probably stoned so idt its shade

Beauty post?

What is your favorite make-up remover?
andora 23rd-Mar-2013 03:57 pm (UTC)
Dying to hear responses. I feel like I've tried everything and nothing is really quick or thorough.

The only thing I consistently like is Bioderma. My skin does so well when I use it. The lancome and Bobbi Brown removers suuuuuck considering they're so expensive.
thelovehater 23rd-Mar-2013 04:07 pm (UTC)
Bioderma Crealine
Koh Ken Do Spa Water
glasstictac 23rd-Mar-2013 04:40 pm (UTC)
Agree with Bioderma. It's great.
thelovehater 23rd-Mar-2013 04:46 pm (UTC)
Koh Gen Do, not Ken.
I need a nap.
beatlesluv 23rd-Mar-2013 05:12 pm (UTC)
I've heard so many good things about Koh. I NEED to try them soon1
likeparenthesis 23rd-Mar-2013 04:15 pm (UTC)
I use a couple drops of jojoba oil to remove my eye make-up, and then I just use my purity face wash to remove the rest of my make-up.
somacomatose 23rd-Mar-2013 04:43 pm (UTC)
bioderma and bifesta. both are water based and equally awesome (bifesta is cheaper and also easier to get here in asia)
beatlesluv 23rd-Mar-2013 05:11 pm (UTC)
Right now I like clinique take the day off
hallois 23rd-Mar-2013 05:18 pm (UTC)
Kose Cleansing oil for face and bioderma water for eyes with clinique take the day off for waterproof mascara

myairguitar 23rd-Mar-2013 05:59 pm (UTC)
Coconut or olive oil, but lately I've been using Philosophy's Purity Made Simple.
iluvkidnappers 23rd-Mar-2013 06:05 pm (UTC)

I like Sephora's Triple Action Cleansing water. It's similar to Bioderma Crealine, but easier to buy in the States.
twistedsinews 23rd-Mar-2013 07:50 pm (UTC)
Grapeseed oil. I'm kind of doing the oil cleansing method with it. My skin loves it!
meiliguniang 23rd-Mar-2013 07:59 pm (UTC)
Watson's cleansing oil

nemo_011 23rd-Mar-2013 10:22 pm (UTC)
A cleansing oil, literally dissolves your makeup in seconds, splash some water and voila! It emulsifies and everything is gone. Including eye-make up.

If I can't be bother to wash my face, then I use bioderma
ptr28 23rd-Mar-2013 03:49 pm (UTC)
ooh I love this, genius imo

ideservestars Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 04:01 pm (UTC)
I use Benefit's Stay Don't Stray. Its a light concealer+primer and I really like it. I've heard very good things about Benefit's Boi-ing tho.

I would NOT rec any of urban decays concealers, tried them and they're awful
tundrabeast Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 05:06 pm (UTC)
I didn't like Boi-ong: yellowish for someone pasty like me, coverage not what I needed, formula got fluffy in the tin (eaux.)
katiefitch Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 04:02 pm (UTC)
i've heard benefit erase paste is great but i can't afford it rn so i haven't tried it
fauxkaren Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 04:04 pm (UTC)
I use Benefit's Erase Paste and I'm happy with it.
thelovehater Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 04:09 pm (UTC)
Bobbi Brown Corrector and Creamy Concealer
Givenchy Mr. Light - superior to Touche Éclat imo

benefit stay don't stray + benefit's boi-ing if my circles are particularly bad.
likeparenthesis Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 04:18 pm (UTC)
I have heard great things about Bobbi Brown's Corrector/Concealer but I currently am using my budget-friendly Garnier Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller & Concealer, which definitely gets the job done.
purrple_267 Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 05:48 pm (UTC)
Skinfood salmon concealer.
leopard_legs Re: Best under eye concealer?23rd-Mar-2013 06:27 pm (UTC)
benefit erase paste, once again
it's very orange/salmon in colour so it counteracts the blue/purple in under eye circles

that or just any orangey/salmon coloured concealer really

and i'm obsessing over this perfume right now:

deadonarival_9 23rd-Mar-2013 04:05 pm (UTC)

shortliljackers 23rd-Mar-2013 04:08 pm (UTC)
korres white tea cleanser.

tundrabeast 23rd-Mar-2013 05:08 pm (UTC)
I HAVE THAT PERFUME OMFG I obsessed over it for a year before getting it. It's nice but I'm bored now even though I was so fascinated and in love with it to begin with (so consider getting the Elixir, perfume form even though the scent is slightly different, I regret getting the EDP) and I want a new ~Signature Scent~ lol. I actually really like some of those superdry ones in the little neon lighters.

edit: Haha I can't read! I didn't get this special edition one I just got the normal Eau de Merveilles, but I think I smelled this one too and it's nice.

I am allll about Cleansing Oils rn. So perfect for a dry, sensitive skin and they work wonderfully with my Clarisonic.
undoit 23rd-Mar-2013 07:57 pm (UTC)
ahh, i can't say enough good things about that cleanser! it's super gentle but powerful enough to really make you feel like your face is clean and fresh, and the scent isn't terribly overwhelming (kind of a light cucumber-melon type deal). a little really does go a long way with it too
ilovedogs 24th-Mar-2013 04:14 am (UTC)
I am adding L'Ambre des Merveilles to my list of stuff to try on at Sephora!
katiefitch 23rd-Mar-2013 03:57 pm (UTC)
what are some good facial cleansers for dry skin? i have a neutrogena and a clean & clear one and they both don't do shit
ideservestars 23rd-Mar-2013 04:11 pm (UTC)
cetaphil, seriously its amazing. my dermatologist recommended it and i've been using it for years
invitroblossoms 23rd-Mar-2013 04:38 pm (UTC)
That's what I use too. I love that I can use it without water if I'm in a hurry.

What BB Creams (if you can really call them that...) does everyone like? My favourite glorified tinted moisturizer and Maybelline's, but sometimes it is a little heavy for me if I don't use powder. Now I'm using Clinique's and it's only okay. Can't wait to try Vichy when I'm ready for a new one!
ideservestars 23rd-Mar-2013 04:04 pm (UTC)
Skin79 bb creams are awesome. Perf amount of coverage and they last all day. American bbs just do not compare
arwens 23rd-Mar-2013 04:17 pm (UTC)
i have the orange skin79 but I felt like it was too gray for my skin, and it made me break out.
likeparenthesis 23rd-Mar-2013 04:22 pm (UTC)
I LOVE the gold one... but it made me have terrible cystic acne. To be fair, it only gave me acne in the areas where I am normally very acne-prone and it also occurred at the time of the year where I always have the worst breakouts (February). It was bad enough that I probably won't use it again. :(

...But if you're not acne prone, their BB creams are worth a try!
invitroblossoms 23rd-Mar-2013 04:24 pm (UTC)
I've been using the pink one for awhile now and I love it.
tundrabeast 23rd-Mar-2013 05:10 pm (UTC)
I have the pink one, my friend didn't want it because it's a tad grey and shiny but the coverage is EXCELLENT.
tragickingdomxo 23rd-Mar-2013 09:10 pm (UTC)
The orange one is the only thing pale enough for my skin tone, love it
emptypostcard 23rd-Mar-2013 04:20 pm (UTC)
I got a sample of smashbox's new cc cream and it is far superior to any bb cream I've ever tried. I like a little more coverage though, but it doesn't feel as "heavy" as bb creams do.
purrple_267 23rd-Mar-2013 05:49 pm (UTC)
I like Missha perfect cover.
mhfromnh 23rd-Mar-2013 05:58 pm (UTC)
I've tried L'Oreal, Maybelline, and Rimmel. I like the Rimmel best. a friend of mine tried Garnier and found it gel-like.
palebluedot09 23rd-Mar-2013 07:15 pm (UTC)
I use etude house bright fit bb cream. I used western brands first but they just don't compare.
tragickingdomxo 23rd-Mar-2013 09:11 pm (UTC)
The only non-Korean one I've been impressed with is Lumene's.
akasha6915 24th-Mar-2013 08:43 am (UTC)
I'm in love with Urban Decay's Naked BB cream. That shit is beautiful, wonderful, and has improved the softness of my skin, and helped clear things up.

Oh hello Beauty Post!

What's your favorite moisturizer? I swear I feel like I try everything, expensive, cheap, specialty, basic, and I just can't find a moisturizer that feels like it's making my skin better. It always feels like a layer on my skin.

Not so much beauty related, period related.
My cycle is all screwed up because of stress & shit & my period just started and I have to move my OBGYN appt AGAIN. Ugh. It's my own fault too. But I wish when I had called to schedule the appt last time (when my period initially started early) that they made my appt 6 weeks outs rather than 4. Cause now my appt is soon and my period started and now I have to tell my boss I had to move the appt AGAIN. and my boss doesn't like me. and just ugh. Stress.
katiefitch 23rd-Mar-2013 04:04 pm (UTC)
someone in another beauty post recommended cerave to me (it's fairly cheap you can get it at target/drugstores) and i love it
arielcharming 23rd-Mar-2013 04:08 pm (UTC)
Ooh, & it looks like it has good reviews when I google it. Maybe I'll pick some up while I'm out today. Thanks! :)
benicebitch 23rd-Mar-2013 04:08 pm (UTC)
Best thing I've ever put on my face tbh. I can't recommend it enough! :)

cerave and philosophy's hope in a jar have always been good to me. i have dry acne prone skin and those are the only two that don't leave me feeling greasy, break me out more, and actually ~moisturize my skin.

Origuns Starting Over and Perfect World.
