its really fucked. this girl my brother is friend's with throws the the n-word around all the time in a "joking, my sister/brother" kind of way and she's a tiny little white girl. my brother thinks its dumb as hell and i just want to punch her in the face.

i've noticed that a lot of white kids are totally chill with saying it now a days. i don't know if it's because i grew up where i grew up, but the offensiveness of that word was made well known when i was a child (and i am white) and i was not to EVER say it. i would have gotten my ass whooped to the corner store and back if i ever did. so it legit surprises me to see how casually white people(kids especially) throw it around on twitter and facebook and shit.
