Lindsay's court day

Lindsay Lohan's trial starts at 8:30 AM PDT, and she has one more chance to play Let's Make a Deal ... IF SHE ACTUALLY SHOWS UP!!

We know she's running late ... but now it's a question of "how late?" ... since she only has 19 minutes from the time she lands in L.A. to get to the courthouse.

When she does arrive to court, she could cop a plea directly to the judge ... but we're told that's not gonna happen so it's trial time, baby ... and we'll be streaming it all live.

Lindsay is accused of lying to cops after crashing her Porsche last June on Pacific Coast Highway.

As we reported, if she's convicted her probation could be violated and when the dust settles ... she could ACTUALLY serve between 60 and 90 days in the pokey.

Stay tuned ...

11:04 AM PT -- It appears Lindsay has struck a plea deal with prosecutors, which is shocking because up until now ... Lindsay has REFUSED to accept any punishment.

Our clue ... Mark Heller's co-counsel just grabbed a "plea form" from a desk and took it into chambers with him.

10:42 AM PT -- FYI, we're still waiting for the case to be called. Sit tight.

9:50 AM PT -- How many sheriff's deputies does it take for Lindsay Lohan to go pee? Six ... at least that's how many just escorted her to the bathroom.

9:18 AM PT -- Lindsay has FINALLY SHOWN UP!!! She's wearing a white dress, which means she squeezed in some time for a wardrobe change ... because last night she was wearing all black.

As Lindsay walked into the courthouse, someone threw what appeared to be glitter at her.

9:03 AM PT -- The truck driver involved in Lindsay's PCH accident is in court.

8:45 AM PT -- Lindsay's plane landed at 8:35 AM PT at LAX.

8:35 AM PT -- Lindsay's attorney Mark Heller just drove away from the courthouse in his Hummer. Unclear why.

8:28 AM PT -- Lindsay's estimated arrival time is now 8:31 AM ... meaning she'll definitely be late.

8:24 AM PT -- Lindsay's attorney Mark Heller has just arrived.

8:13 AM PT -- We're told the private jet carrying Lindsay has diverted to LAX -- which will put her much closer to the courthouse, and give her a fighting chance to actually make it on time. The clock is ticking ...

Lohan entered the courtroom in a pale pink and white outfit and appeared tired, with bloodshot eyes and barely no makeup. Her lawyer then met with prosecutors and the judge. It is possible that a plea deal could be reached. Lohan was later spotted being escorted to a restroom by female police officers.

Lohan's estranged father, Michael Lohan, had arrived at the courthouse with several lawyers at the scheduled time and sat in the front row. OTRC.com has learned that after spotting him, the actress told one of her friends: "Why can he just leave? He's crazy."

I know there is a 3 strike law in Cali for felonies but is there like a 20 strike law for washed up actresses?

i keep reading this as straw like instead of strike law

i think lindsay has only ever ended up being charged with misdemeanors, which is part of the reason why she gets away with it constantly--california doesn't have the time, money, or space to keep people who aren't violent offenders.

i really wish the judges would just open their eyes and be like "obviously this girl doesn't get it, she needs to be punished to understand how laws work." but i'm not holding my breath.
