that's some stupid marketing, tbqh. why would she book all those high profile appearances in february + all these magazine covers and her album comes out later in the year? and why did she book the tour so early if the albums not out yet...won't she just be performing old songs?

lmao please. this is a new day and age. everybody needs hype. "4" wasn't exactly a blockbuster for her, so she needs to be more careful with this release. and so far it looks messy.

The most interesting thing about the buzz song being posted is how people are being divided into those who only like popular/pop/'safe' beyonce and those who know that the Bey on this song is the same one from DC & always has been. I am not white, and even if I was it wouldn't make my opinion on her music less valid. That song is lame and embarrassing. Bey fans are grasping at straws trying to explain why a Kween sounds like a desperate basketball wife in a twitter beef.

She didn't tour with the last album. Maybe she'll do one or two songs from the upcoming one, but the rest could be from 4 and before.

i guess, but what a weird timeline/promo. she had all that promo in january and february, and then nothing. and now a tour that's almost two years after 4 and yet still before the new album. and not even an album title or any info other than whatever that was she released last night.

Yeah i agree. Most artists tour with new material. It makes sense to tour when the album is out so fans can enjoy the new music too.

they must have thought the album would be ready by then. i'd lay a bet that the first single was supposed to premiere around the time of the superbowl but it got delayed for whatever reason.
