i don't know a lot about jewelrymaking but like. shouldn't a several hundred thousand dollar ring (or however OTT expensive hers is) hold on to its stones for longer than that
it happens less often with stones held by new prongs, but even a new, sharp prong can bend if it gets caught on something. it can easily happen with a stone that's pave, bezel, or channel set. ESPECIALLY pave. basically nothing is holding it. it has nothing to do with how expensive it is, but rather how careful the wearer is. i never wear any of my rings while doing chores. even when i wash my hands, i take them off. some people are pretty careless with their jewelry and therefore often lose their stones.
the thing is that when a celeb doesn't wear their engagement ring, it's news. being that she's on twitter all the time, she "should have" mentioned as much beforehand and that would have nipped all speculation in the friggin' bud
She's as bad as some of my attention-whore Facebook friends. I love them dearly, but every now and then it's like "I need to take a break from Facebook, life is crazy, I'll be back one day!!11" and "one day" happens in less than a week.
She seems so defensive about the rumor of their marriage being off. Which is what makes me believe, more than anything, that there's ~trouble in paradise~. You'd think if everything was copacetic between them, she'd let those rumors just roll off her.
Idk... it's kinda rough when your man is on the other side of the world, and you're doing your thing on this side and you can't be seen together and everyone is talking shit... Your theory is totally valid, but when I put myself in those shoes, I think I would be defensive as hell. I just feel bad for some of these celebs, it must get so old so fucking fast.

Liam and her sound like they are naturally growing apart, it's normal. She's coming across as really desperate and clingy, I think she should take her own advice and keep schtum online.
I was thinking the same thing. I feel like if everything in the relationship is fine people are usually sitting back with their partners, laughing at all stupid press. Her constantly stating that everything is fine just makes things look worse.
Exactly. Like 99% of the time when someone is trying this hard to prove everything is fine, and rumors won't stop popping up something is going on, and usually the couple ends up splitting. And I mean, not a huge surprise since getting married at her age was an asinine idea in the first place.
That pic makes it very clear that she had an eyejob in the last couple of years. She and the Olsen twins have the exact same pop-eyed look--wouldn't be at all surprised if they used the same surgeon.
It's coming off like it's over for him, and everytime his team tries to confirm it, hers fires back saying they're working on things. I'm not saying that's what's going on, but it's how it looks.
And when even People is confirming there's problems, it's silly to act like everyone just overreacted to you not wearing your ring.
Yep. She made a big deal out of her engagement announcement because she's young and ~in love~ and was swept up in the moment. Now she doesn't want the h8rs to be right about them getting engaged too soon. She doesn't want to be embarrassed. I guess I don't blame her, but dems da breaks.
i don't either. replacing a stone literally takes a few hours. she could get it back in a day, and being that she's a celeb and her jeweler might consider her a more important client, i feel like they'd get it back to her as soon as they could.
Idk I really think she should of said this earlier before the media snowballed with all their sources of what exactly they think is going on with miley and liam's relationship. So confusing sigh...so messy. :/

In my experience with rings it's a lot easier losing those smaller side diamonds because you hit them on a lot of things without even realizing it.
