I'm surprised they didn't cover them up..the tattoos don't really fit into the Klaus character

Oh, I think the feather/birds one absolutely fits the whiny, pathetic, "painting my feelings, let me also draw some horses" Klaus. Klaus lived through 2005, I bet he was a fan of The Used.

I'm also curious as to how vampires can get tattoos..they don't cover up Paul's either. You would think a needle piercing skin would heal over and they wouldn't be able to keep tattoos.

I thought so too, one thing to get it before death but after vampirism? Unless it means it heals faster? Since tattoos to require healing
