Apparently this is a common thing, which is weird because I never heard of it until it happened to me. I went through a Carl's Jr. drive-thru last summer, and when I pulled up to the window, the cashier told me the guy in front of me already paid. I was SO confused, because I didn't recognize the car (the cashier seemed just as surprised, asking if I knew him). It was just one of the nicest random acts of kindness I've ever experienced. I have too much social anxiety to do that myself, so I just donated $10 to a random charity online that day. But to all of you who make someone's day like that, thank you<3
