If you were looking to get your hands on Khroma Beauty, the Kardashians' cosmetic line, you better act fast. The U.S. District Court has just issued a preliminary injuction against the brand -- meaning, you won't be seeing Khroma in stores for much longer.
If you haven't been paying attention to Kardashian legal troubles the past few months, their makeup line hasn't been too popular with fellow cosmetic brands. Back in October, the reality stars were threatened with a trademark infringement lawsuit by Chroma Makeup who pursued an injunction but were eventually denied by the courts.
Then, Kroma Makeup (no "h") accused Khroma of the same offense. In response, they were slapped with a lawsuit by Boldface Licensing + Branding, the company that represents Khroma Beauty, in December. Essentially, Boldface was hoping to put an end to all of this and obtain a legal declaration that the license for its makeup company was properly obtained. Kroma then filed a countersuit. Got it?
The most recent ruling in this legal battle -- the one that temporarily prevents the Kardashian brand from continuing sales for the duration of the case -- comes after the judge assessed some key figures. Since Khroma launched last winter, Kroma's sales have dropped 25 percent. Without a temporary injunction on Khroma while the two companies sort out their dispute, the judge argues that the celebrity-backed company “will destroy [Kroma's] business," according to Women's Wear Daily.
Obviously, the Kardashians themselves won't hurt too much from this now-temporary financial blow. We're sure Kim will still be able to afford her blood facials, Khloe will pamper her new puppy, Kourtney will still take beach vacays with little Mason and Kris will... you get the picture.
Stay tuned for updates on the case -- there are likely to be many, many more

i'm not sure who would purchase this stuff. is it like a mid-market brand, or what?
this should be a makeup post
it'll be glorious
I need advice on concealer and foundation!
I use mac's studio scope concealer and lately i've found that it's too greasy/cakey on me so I'm not sure what other concealer I can get I usually use it for small blemishes and under my eyes.
Then foundation I've used Clinique superbalance for a few years now but i want something with a bit more coverage but have it not be cakey (I have pretty sensitive skin too so drug store products tend to cause breakouts on me)
any product advice?
if you want to spend the money, YSL has great foundations with medium/full coverage.

Seriously so amazing.
Make up forever has several foundation options for every skin type. I use their "face and body liquid make up" because I prefer a more natural looking coverage (not heavy), and it has a dewy finish that I enjoy. If you need more coverage they have tons of other options

i've been using coconut oil in my hair lately and i am so in love. thanks pinterest!
does anyone have extremely dry skin and live in a hot and humid climate? what is a good moisturizer for the face that isn't too expensive? or should i start taking vitamins? my skin is so dry, sometimes flaky, and i get patches of dry, red skin on my elbows unless i have been tanning.
i like first aid beauty's ultra repair cream. i also have super dry skin and eczema, and it's definitely helped me.
However, I'm also using for every other overnight is Vitamin E oil and it calms my face down. Hopes this helps.
For the rest of her body she uses (after bath) any of Natura's body creams. Her favorite is one of almond and red fruits.
Also, I recommend what we call "crema de ordeñe" (Milking cream?), I use the one of the brand "Candela Thompson" and it's SO good, and I'm sure it's natural because my dog licks my legs every time she smells it, lol. It has healing properties and vitamines A and E too, so it might be good for your skin.
Try to look for creams with cocoa, Karité butter or almond, since thouse tend to be very moisturizing creams.
PS: I live in a very hot and humid place.
