Zooey Deschanel caught on camera with mysterious bumps on her eyelid

While on the red carpet Monday night at the 30th Annual Paley Fest to support her hit show "New Girl," the actress was photographed with some mysterious-looking protrusions on her right eyelid, which she had attempted to cover up with eyeshadow. But fans of the "adorkable" star needn't worry — the bumps are nothing serious, skin experts said. "It's hard to know for sure since they are covered with eye shadow," said Dr. Glenn Kolansky, board certified dermatologist in Red Bank, NJ. "Most likely they are syringomas — small, firm papules that are usually skin colored." These happen when the eccrine, or sweat glands overproduce cells.

Yeah, there's an informercial product on it! Or you could go to a dermatologist and have them remove it or you could just YANK IT THE FUCK OFF. Y'know, show it who's boss.

I used to have one on my neck and my doc told me if you tie a string at the base it'll fall off within a couple days.

But yours is on your face so you may not want to walk around with a string on your face. lol. But if you have a few days at home you could possibly try that :)

Yeah if it has a thin base just tie some dental floss around it and it'll fall right off. If not see you doctor and it's really quick and easy to remove.

You know those clipper things they use when you get a manicure? They're really sharp and you can clip them off quickly.

My esthetician was like, "As a professional, I say go to the dermatologist. As your friend, I say just use the clippers. "

damn! does it leave a scar? it's like right on the outside corner of my eye
palmthejoker 13th-Mar-2013 11:52 pm (UTC)
It shouldn't! When I first cut mine off, it looked like a freckle but now I can't see anything. I also put some Neosporin on right away.
