HAHAHAHA! Also, I tried 'liking' this and was so confused because the only options LJ was giving me was "Reply" "Thread" "Link" and "Track This". derp.
I honestly don't ever get why people think his character is a jackass.
He knows he has no chance with her and he knows he's dwelling on it too much and it's unhealthy. So he tells her so he can get past it and move on with his life and stop obsessing over her (or the idea of her, w/e). It's weird that he's so in love~ with her from afar, but it happens to people. She kisses him, he walks away saying the whole "Enough now." meaning he's going to move on with his life. That was kind of the point of their arc, imo. he needed to get over her because he was never going to have her.
It wasn't the best way to tell her, but idk. I don't get how people think he's OMG AWFUL and whatnot. And the videotaping just her was a little ??? and ick, but I'm not as bothered as some people.
season 3 Rick can get it. I wasn't sexually attracted to him in seasons 1 & 2, but now he has the perfect amount of facial stubble and crazy that I like
lol i didn't know he was from love actually until my friend pointed it out to me so excited for tonight even tho i won't get to watch it until tomorrow
i watch this show off and on and thought he was familiar.
has reedus ever talked about being popular... again? it feels weird to me that he was in several films and one of the best movies ever, yet so many people (adults) only know him from this show.
yeah, that's what i thought. but, whenever i talk to someone about the show (even people who i know are very knowledgeable when it comes to films), they talk about him like he's some new actor. it's the strangest thing.
I haven't heard comments explicitly about the new popularity thing, but he's said things along the line of how he's finally started getting more fanmail for TWD than Boondock Saints and how he's found that there's a lot of overlap in the two groups.
I am always mystified when characters wear layers (or even sleeves) on this show. They're running around fighting for their lives in near-subtropic Georgia, constantly soaked in sweat and grime and vocally complaining about how hot it is. I just re-watched the episode where Lori crashes the car, and she puts on a leather coat not five seconds after Dale, seeping sweat, says to someone, "Shit-tits, it is HOTTER THAN HELL out here."
The show doing covert product-placement for a clothing company would be the only sane explanation...
