It's not "most lyrical artist" list. It's the "hottest" list. We all KNOW Nas is Nas and will be always be Nas.
Even Nas himself chose Kendrick's album over his own as the best rap album of the year.

I still refuse to acknowledge that Drake is an MC but IA with what you said here
Im the biggest Nas fan but I got no problem with Kendrick being ahead because he did have a bigger year. At least they recognized that Nas too had a big year
