queen tina turner covers vogue germany

At the tender age of 73, Tina Turner proves she’s still “simply the best” with a cover on the German issue of Vogue. At 62, Meryl Streep was American Vogue‘s oldest cover girl, but the Grammy-award-winning singer has beaten the record.

The April spread was styled by Nicola Knels and shot by photography couple Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer.

this was so unexpected / great of them. i also love that the obvious photoshop work is not a disaster, it looks rather good, esp. compared to the monstruosities that sometimes fashion magazine let out

You are not. The right side looks so blank and awkward and I think the styling could have been MUCH better. She kinda waxy and the hair is nagl. They wronged her, lol

I saw her in concert during her last tour. I had crap upper deck seats and went all by myself but I just wanted to see TINA TURNER. It was amazing and worth it. Queen. and it was a great show.

also there was a young kid I would say 12 to 13 years old next to me with his family and he knew the entire set list and what was going to happen so clearly he had been to many shows. It gave me hope for the younger generation.

This part of the show had me clutching my pearls though

My mom is a HUGE fan of her, so I went with my mom to this tour. And omg I couldn't believe what she was still able to do at her age back then.. I was stunned, she's so amazing. She's an fantastic artist!
