Agreed. It's not even him as a character that annoys me, but I think something about the actor irks me. I have no idea why; he's a good actor, but I just don't like how he plays Caesar or something.
Exactly. I find myself far more interested in Crassus and Tiberius then I am in Caesar. The actor,like you said,is good but he's not making me invested enough to care about him at all.

Knowing how it ends, every episode gets harder and harder to watch. well at least for some characters , there are several I can't wait to see go which makes me sad because I used to love them. I find it interesting they're bringing in the final general now.

I was not expecting Crassus to give that Roman woman to the Pirate king at all. I will miss this show.
Caesar is my new second fave after the last two episodes. He was absolutely brilliant.When he drew his sword at Gannicus you could see he was thinking "Fuck, I have to fight ah-gainnn?"
And then he confirmed it with his absolutely hilarious comment about risking his life to kill every one of these fucks.
It's exhausting how every season my favorite characters keep changing. I used to be annoyed by Gannicus but now he's become one of my top 3 favs. I adored Nagron last season but this season I'm over them. Still find Agron hot as motherfucking shit though. Crixus and Naevia's nosedive into an insane asylum is understandable and sad but MY GOD I want to sucker punch them a lot of the time. And as evil and a little crazy as Julius Caesar may be I'd still tap that like I was dying of thirst.
I'm becoming more and more of a nervous wreck with each remaining episode. I will probably mourn for a few months after the show ends. Stocking up on tissue now.
