lol Isn't it Beyonce's L'oreal commercial where she has, "African American, French and Native American" as her race? That chick is dense and Jlo's "100 % Puerto Rican" label seems very misguided.

She didn't write the copy herself.

It was a commercial claiming to match "ethnic" skin perfectly. The point was to highlight "ethnic" backgrounds since darker skin is hard to match due to various undertones.

Yeah, maybe she didn't write those words herself but I know she had to okay it because she's very concerned about her image, which was most recently shown with the Superbowl pictures on Buzzfeed (http://www.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeedceleb/the-unflattering-photos-beyonces-publicist-doesnt-want-you-t), and she's spoken and sung about being Creole before.
