Actual fanboy Mike Weston trusts no one... sneak peeks at the next ep of 'The Following'

Remember when we said that "The Following" was giving us trust issues? We're not the only ones.

In Zap2it's exclusive clip from Monday's "Welcome Home" episode of the Kevin Williamson-penned serial killer drama, Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore) starts showing signs of paranoia... and for good reason! After all, just days ago he was shot by a police officer that he thought he could trust, and now that murderer Joe Carroll has escaped from prison, his influence over his followers is even stronger.

He's obviously learned that literally anyone around him could be one of Carroll's minions, and it probably doesn't help much that the FBI has brought in a new agent to run lead on the case -- Nick Donovan (Mike Colter) will be taking the reigns from here on out.

I'd spend all my money on a panic room and just stay in there forever and have a nervous breakdown, especially since he's going to be targeting the FBI in future episodes.

Also, since there was nothing else on Monday, I watched The Following and holy crap, that was intense.

this show is weird. it has so much potential but it just bums me out. violence for violence's sake gets boring after a while. and, anyway, if joe has everything planned, nothing will be solved or prevented by the fbi so it'll be cat and mouse until the final episode.

kevin bacon is awesome, though. even with the shitty dialogue.

I am starting to wonder if Carroll's wife is a follower mostly because no one would see that coming...or maybe she is Rodderick? IDK --- it is almost too good of a story for me to pass up in my mind.

I swear though, in a Kevin Williamson show, it could be *anybody*. He has a long history of "it couldn't be X because of..." and then it's TOTALLY X.

I don't want it to be her, but I really hope Roderick turns out to be a lady.

this show sometimes... i mean i can handle a lot by ontd standards (didn't flinch once watching ahs) but i don't like it when they show women in cages and shit in this show. it really disturbs me.

also the show is kinda cheesy and repetitive but i'll keep watching for now. i just can't stand joe or his stupid accent and squinty-acting -_- and idg what's ~*~sooooooo~~ charismatic and charming about him lol. i find emma quite entertaining tho.

i believe that mike is totally hardy's follower. but i have my suspicions about the FBI lady. even if she got out of a cult, maybe it was just because they were trying to force her to have sex with the leader? and then she talks to joe carroll a bit and he's like no one will force you schmooze schmooze~

really, ever since i saw that episode where she gave joe the Poe book, i had red flags raised
