The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's Peeta poster



Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark is the latest character to appear on one of the new "Victory Portraits" for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The 74th Annual Hunger Games winner returns in the big screen sequel on November 22. Check out the new design below, courtesy of PerezHilton.com.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour' of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

It wasn't highlighted in the first movie, but I feel like the way he's sitting might be subliminal in that they will acknowledge his artificial leg.

well there was that, but also at the beginning he couldn't swim, and then his main problem was getting hit by the fence and almost dying.

Dude was a continuous emotional and physical flop in CF. the leg is the least of his impairments.

idts. Like melina_agape said, there were other issues that made him weak in the Catching Fire arena, and I'm sure the Capitol's artificial legs are legit enough to function like normal legs (so the artificial leg wouldn't have been a big deal anyway).
