EW has learned exclusively that Ingo Rademacher and Vanessa Marcil will reprise their roles as Jax and Brenda. GH is staying mum about their return date but word is it’ll occur sometime before April 1.
And here’s some even better news: They are expected to stay for more than a few weeks.
Ingo had recently returned to the show for a short stint but this time they'll revisit the famous love triangle of Jax, Brenda and Sonny. Although the characters of Carly and Kate may have something to say about that.
Rademacher and Marcil are among many alums who have returned to help celebrate the soap’s 50th anniversary milestone. Other faves who have returned home to Port Charles this season are Genie Francis, Kin Shriner, Rick Springfield, and yes — even Richard Simmons.
Rademacher first joined the soap in 1996 before leaving in 2011. (He took time out in 2000 to appear in the short-lived Titans). Marcil created the role of Brenda in 1992. After an eight-year absence from the show that made her a household name, she returned to GH for a year from 2010-11.
In other GH news, Brandon Barash is leaving the role of Johnny Zacchara.
Barash made the announcement on Twitter, along with a basketball joke: "With a bittersweet, heavy heart I announce my time at GH has come to an end, as I have chosen to move on&pursue my NBA career. I love u all."
And starting March 29, SOAPnet will air a 50-hour General Hospital marathon event leading up to the special 50th Anniversary episode of the soap on April 1.

Damn, and I was saying last night how talented BB is and how I enjoy watching Johnny's scenes even though I hate Johnny. I'm going to miss him but I think he could make it on primetime.

I used to love her character but she was so fucking annoying when she returned .... stay away
that's when my hatred of Brenda really started to boom and when I started to hate Jax. gRRRRR
