Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke said she has even tried getting David Benioff and Dan Weiss drunk in order to find out how the series will end, but the show’s secrets are being kept under lock and key.
The HBO fantasy is set to return for a third season this year, but Clarke is desperate to glimpse a little further down the road.
‘I’ve said to George ‘come on, tell me who wins, please!’ And he thinks I’m joking and I say, ‘no, no, I’m deadly serious!’’ she gushed. ‘His lips are sealed. And I’m sure that Davidand Dan know but they don’t tell anyone –I’ve got them drunk and they still wouldn’t tell me.
‘I’ve been pleading with them, ‘tell me who wins!’ And they won’t say a word. They’re under lock and key. ! But I care passionately about what happens to Dany. How could I not?’
Game Of Thrones’ seconds season saw Clarke’s character Daenerys Targaryen transform from a shy young woman into a warrior would-be Queen with dragons in tow.
‘Dany is the most brilliant character and everything she comes up against – and she faces a lot of adversity – she survives and what I like about her is that she learns from every single mistake,’ she added.
‘I think the biggest thing about Dany is that she, unlike many of the other characters in the story, doesn’t have an egotistical desire to get the Iron Throne. It’s not like this need or obsessive desire, it’s her destiny and there’s no control over it.’
Fans will get the chance to experience ‘a taste of Westeros’ next month when, bizarrely, Game Of Thrones goes on a food truck tour of London.
Spiced, cracked wheat Medieval porridge and wild boar cured sausage with mustard preserved fruits will be served up, with the truck making stops at Goodge Street, Covent Garden, Soho and Liverpool Street on March 4. A special guest will be on board for the tour.

lol nooo. I guess you could argue that in the books but in the series, that's not how she comes across at all.
Dany just wants to go home. And she got lost on her way. Super lost.
That's why I don't really want her to end up on the throne, I think she would be happier elsewhere
Emilia's speaking about Dany the way she would probably be portrayed in the hands of better writers.
