Kevin Sorbo praises Billy Graham, blasts Obama and Hollywood liberal intolerance on Fox & Friends!!!

That’s right. Kevin Sorbo does not toe the Hollyweird leftist line. The “Hercules” actor was on “Fox & Friends”. Fellow actor Ricky Schroder TWEETED about meeting him in the Fox hallways.

Mr. Sorbo’s appearance was short, but packed a punch. Sorbo first talked about how he has always been a Christian, and he praised Rev. Billy Graham.

Sorbo is featured in “Billy Graham and Me,” the latest from “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series.

He then went on to blast Hollywood hypocrisy, by rightly explaining that they preach tolerance, but are probably “the most intolerant people you will ever meet.”

ahzuri 5th-Mar-2013 04:18 am (UTC)
Clearly he is. I mean she can't help that her amazingness outshines his terrible acting. Legit watched all of Xena on Netflix like year or two ago and it was still amazing and campy, loved every damn minute of it. Shortly after that I tried to watch Hercules, yeah that didn't happen.
floetcist 5th-Mar-2013 05:49 am (UTC)
She outshined Sorbo on her first appearance, even when her early portrayal of Xena wasn't polished yet.
scarletfbl 5th-Mar-2013 04:19 am (UTC)
Someone had a bunch of Hercules VHSs they were giving away at a yard sale, and selling Xena VHSs (I think they were, like 25 cents a piece). I didn't have enough money to buy the Xena vids, so I just left.

Years ago when he was less irrelevant and on some late night talk show, I remember him putting his hands on some actress' leg. She was clearly not okay with him touching her there and removed it, and he put it right back on. It was a dick move and I've disliked him every since. Pretty sure I tell this story whenever his name comes up.
welurklate 5th-Mar-2013 04:06 am (UTC)
it's cute he wants attention
winninglondon 5th-Mar-2013 04:06 am (UTC)
Lol @ all these has been actors from decades ago coming out of the woodwork being crazy as fuck. Is this some sort of new Hollywood trend for them to gain relevance again?
floetcist 5th-Mar-2013 05:51 am (UTC)
Has been actors always tend to be republicans/conservatives.

Dean Cain is another one, which hurts my soul because he is fine as hell.
cickiz 5th-Mar-2013 06:02 am (UTC)
I only see as Scott Peterson now.
crystalfairie 5th-Mar-2013 12:27 pm (UTC)
Whaaaaaaat? I loved Dean! What did he do?
pastelstar 5th-Mar-2013 04:24 pm (UTC)
ita on the Dean Cain thing. Damn you Clark Kent.
glo_unit 5th-Mar-2013 05:45 pm (UTC)
I know I probably shouldn't ask this since I'll likely be disappointed, but has Dean Cain ever been a huge asshole? I'm not as hurt about Dean Cain because from what I have seen he still seems at least somewhat reasonable.
evilgmbethy 5th-Mar-2013 09:51 am (UTC)
I'm actually writing a paper for my political sociology class at how one of the signs of the Republican party's increasing irrelevance is the fact that the conservative "celebrities" they trot out are decades past any relevance they may have once had. See: Nugent, Ted. But the thing is, that's all the GOP's got. Any famous person anyone cares about has probably had dinner with the Obamas at this point.

Andromeda ended its run in 2005. Also, his IMDB page would appear to indicate that even semi-retired, he's still pulling 4 or 5 roles per year.

Also, he's not really coming out of the woodwork, his wife is a host on Talk Radio Network (a conservative radio network).

In short: Still more relevant than Stacy Dash

Can I just say if I see "Person X slams/blasts Person Y" as a headline one more time I might kill someone? I'm seriously tired of that line. It's gets used for everything, even completely innocuous comments. The media needs to be more original.

I hope Michelle Pfeiffer slams somebody. She's never been in the tabloids or news articles slamming someone for something. I hope she does it with sass and class.
thewhowhatwhats 5th-Mar-2013 04:44 am (UTC)
That's so true. It's even crossed over to serious political news.

At least they don't use "canoodling" as often. That got used in every article about celebs showing affection for each other a few years ago.
episky_x 5th-Mar-2013 05:04 am (UTC)
