I think it's really weird how polarizing this girl is. Almost all the comments on here are either "I LOVE HER!" or "I HATE HER!" she seems nice enough, but fairly boring. I don't get how you can love her to death or hate her either, tbh.
I saw Hunger Games, and I really liked it, but I am not one of those who loves an actor just because of who they are in films. I can appreciate a performance and still not like an actor personally.
For me it just seems weird the she has such huge haters and huge fans. I think she seems like a normal girl which makes it hard to love or hate her since I don't know her personally.
it's the personality, most people like that are polarizing in my experience. loud/outspoken/goofy can either be endearing or utterly obnoxious depending on your own personality.
and throw in the fact that she's successful.. makes people jealous/think she's undeserving b/c they hate her personality, which makes the hatred worse.
or makes people that like her personality happy for her success which makes their liking of her more intense
ITA. She seems like a flavor of the week, but a very boring flavor at that. But somehow, she's like the new Lena Dunham on here. I dunno. I feel like she's more Jennifer Anniston-y (smoking weed and drinking on vaca seals this notion for me) than anything.
MTE. I get that she's said some ignorant things and all but I feel like people are OTT in their hate for her. AND in their love for her. Basically, I have no strong feels about her either way.
yeah, I have no strong feelings towards her. She has said stupid shit, but she also comes off as uneducated so I'm not shocked.
And all the "normal" girl stuff that ontd is hating on her for now is what they were praising her for when she first started getting big so there really is no way to win.
