I cried at the end of this episode :( At least Mariska was flawless, as usual. She wasn't playing any games in this episode.
And OMG at them killing the Jay Z type character. Poor fake Beyonce :(
Law and Order: SVU not giving a damn (SPOILERS)

Chris Brown & Rihanna will never be able to escape the night he viciously beat her on the night of the 2009 Grammys. Four years later, that incident was the basis for this week’s ‘Law & Order: SVU’ — but did NBC do the story justice?
Chris Brown must always live with his violent past against Rihanna, which is now forever documented on the Feb. 27 episode of Law & Order: SVU. But rather than a straight re-telling of Chris and Rihanna’s story, the writers took things a little further, predicting what could happen if a “promising singer” were to stay with her “popular hip-hop star” boyfriend and remain silent when he acted out.

lol at the bow tie, tattoos, and wack ass duet. They wanted no mistaking who this was about
It's just bullshit
they can and have done much more effective domestic abuse story lines. they just went this route for press and ratings.
I've watched the show before and sometimes they are good but I get uncomfortable with the way they use these headline events. A lot of the time it's done in a really sensationalised way which I think doesn't show a lot of respect for the victims/survivors.
I guess coz Rihanna's with Chris she doesn't deserve any sympathy smh.
But I also thought it was out of line when they did the Dominique Strauss-Khan story.
I understand the desire to take real life stories but sometimes they shouldn't.
My best friend and I were talking during the show as we always do and I got to thinking that I think people would be more apt to forgive Chris Brown if Rihanna hadn't gotten back together with him so quickly. It's as if we were never given the chance to come to terms with what happened on our own before she took him back. And now we're forced to forgive him for disappointing us because she did.
I apologize if this wasn't explained well but I just took my night time meds and I'm a bit out of it. I don't know if it makes any sense but it's just like, ugh.

However, he was blase, unapologetic, obnoxious, insincere and down right petulant through the whole matter. This in addition to the crime really solidified him in my mind as an asshole.
Prior to his disgusting and deplorable beating of Rihanna he actually had kind of a wholesome image so had tried to stick with that, he definitely would be in much better standing with the public now.
TL/DR Chris Brown would have benefited from less douchery post-Chris/Rihanna debacle.
why all the 'we's? why do 'we' have to come to terms with what cb did, and why do 'we' feel like we're forced to forgive him, for something that he never did to us?
only rihanna can choose to forgive him or not.
Season 12 is depressing because I know that it's Chris Meloni's last...
Every time I watch new episodes I expect the twist to be that Stabler did it.
But I watched the Grammy's performance of it, was Chris crying when she performed? That's just such a mindfuck seeing that happen.
Ten minutes in now, and all three witnesses sound like CB stans, ugh.

how manipulative the abuser can be is a huuuuuge part of this whole riri-cb situation and i wish they portrayed that.
