Rihanna might seem like a hard partying star, but according to Victoria's Secret model Cara Delevingne, the 'Stay' singer is a “sweet” and “down to earth girl” who looked after her when she first hit the big time.
The leggy blonde, 20, recently sat front row at Rihanna's Fashion Week debut collection for River Island and partied into the night with her at The Box in London. But it's not just some fleeting celeb friendship, the beauty claims she's been close to the star for two years.
''I met her when she was here two years ago doing a gig. And then she sang at the Victoria's Secret show and we hung out,” she told Grazia magazine.
''She looks after me when I go to LA. She's the best, she's such a sweet, down-to-earth girl.” With her sexual and at times controversial image, Cara claims the singer is misunderstood by other women.
She added: ''She doesn't have that many girlfriends but we have a lot in common. I don't think many girls understand her.''
While Rihanna might not be popular, insiders claim Cara is the hottest thing in fashion right now, with people falling over themselves to hangout with the gorgeous model because she's so “fun”.

I'm a Virgo, moon in Taurus.
I find that that's mostly accurate, except for the hard work and taking a job all the way until it's finished part. I always read that about my signs, but for me personally, I always have difficulty starting a new project and finding motivation to finish it fully.
