Marvel throwing shade at DC?

We've already had some hints that Marvel might be planning a complete reboot akin to what DC did with their New 52, and this might just confirm it once and for all. Check out a vague teaser, which still makes an obvious dig at the rival publisher..

The txt accompanying the teaser simply states..

"COUNT ON MARVEL TO ALWAYS DELIVER!

Cuts above the rest..."

And there are 52 slashes. Pretty self explanatory I think. Those red slashes do look similar to Wolverine's claw marks, despite being four and not three - does this mean Marvel will completely reboot their current slate of comics with all Wolverine books?? Probably not, but something drastic is on the horizon. Sound off with your thoughts and guesses in the usual place.

For awhile I was only reading Captain Marvel because a friend rec'd it. Then in the last issue Spider-Woman showed up and I thought she was awesome so I wanted to read more about her. That led to reading Avengers/New Avengers and such. While I've enjoyed the stories it's really the characters I read for and only a few have stuck out to me. I find DC's characters to be more memorable (especially when it comes to villains, I have yet to come across a Marvel villain whose name I can remember if they haven't been featured in a movie).

Seriously. The Marvel villains don't hold as much weight as Darkseid, The Joker, or Lex Luthor. Who's their main big-bad? Apocalypse? Isn't he a kid now or something?

Thanos, I guess. Apocalypse is the big X-Men villain, but he's a flop with no real gravitas.

I don't even know who that is. Kang, I remember. And of course Magneto and Dark Phoenix. But that's about it.

He's the purple guy at the end of the Avengers movie, if you know about that.

I heard that, but I still don't know who he is. Looks like the Skrulls' answer to Barney.

No idea tbh.
