ONTD, I have a UTI and I am dying at work :( I can't even stand up straight but ugh I just had the flu less than a month ago, I can't go home again

ugh I want to so bad but the CEO said something about me being able to take only that many sick days etc. I had some major epilepsy tests done recently (MRI, CT, EEG (awake and asleep), blood tests and various appointments with the neurologist (I had notes for all of it) so idk. I LOVE my job and don't wanna get in trouble. I did take far too many days off in the last couple of months (like 4 or 5 in 2013 alone)

Thanks bb <3 I need to stock up on C-Juice but lord there is no way I am walking home, let alone carrying cranberry juice. And I guess I could ask my bff's but my place is a rotting mess. I planned to clean it today but there's no way I can now. And trust me, it's barely safe for me to be in there. Idk how I managed to get it to that many levels of gross in a little over a week (granted, I've been feeling very down and depressed lately)

I feel bad for anybody who gets a UTI because I'm prone to them with my kidney issues. I don't get the symptoms though...EVER. For an entire year, I was being tested positive but never had one symptom.

What meds did they give you? I use to get one every 3 months or so, and then my sister, who is a nurse, told me to request a different med- so, instead of getting Cipro like every other time, I asked for something else and they gave me Levaquin and instead of taking a whole pill once a day, I took half two times a day, and now I haven't had one in almost a year.

They didn't. They said they'd call me back today since some of those meds tend to interact with my epilepsy meds :/

UTIs are the worst! I hope you got to go home. I get them all the time (damn kidneys) and find a few teaspoons of bicarb soda in a glass of water every few hours really helps clear them. Tastes awful, but it works.
