I love how he went and stated that she was his daughter right away in practically every interview so that people don't pull a "Ryan Seacrest referring to Denzel's daughter as his wife" flop moment

Yeah, Denzel brought his daughter to the Golden Globes (or SAG Awards? ... One of the two) and Ryan was interviewing him and just went, "and you have your lovely wife with you here" and Denzel paused and played it off, "uh, well, this is my DAUGHTER..." It was embarrassing as hell.
