Was at a concert last night so I only just finished watching last night episode (!!!!!!!!!!!!). Hand up if you thought Alex's pep talk to Sean at the end was incredibly unhelpful. He's not like all the other Division recruits - his life was pretty damn good before everyone thought he was a psychotic domestic terrorist and murderer.
Nikita dipped a bit to 1.26 million viewers last night (0.3 rating). Dear, CW, please stop with the weird ass hiatuses between episodes.

This, and she knows better than anyone what is it like to suddenly pretty much lose everything.
It was so sad when he woke up and wanted to call his sisters.

I was so stunned at how awful her speech was. Like, the dude just lost his life and the reputation he spent years building up just got shot to hell and his sisters think he's a crazed terrorist. Give him a bit before you start telling him his new life couldn't be something ~better. Because WUT?

My heart broke a little for the both of them in that scene though. For Sean for obvious reasons because the shock of what had happened obviously made him temporarily forget what had happened and he basically had to relive the decision he'd made. And for Alex because she had to be the one to tell him. She was very clearly broken up in that scene as well.

Oh and can I just say I love how this episode was so driven by the ladies. Amanda was fucking shit up like the boss she is, Nikita and Alex went in directly to defend/help Sean while Michael didn't have much to do, Amanda killed the guy "operative" and her female one was on Nikita and Alex's tail the whole time. The boys didn't have such a good showing in this one which is nice with the lack of Alex for the last few episodes.

I loved that. It felt like a return the show I first fell in love with. Although it was also sad becase it reminded me of exactly how long it's been since Alex and Nikita have done anything together.

Yassss to Sonya going on a mission. For some reason Birkhoff can't go (Sonya's better at doing what's required would be ideal) and so she goes out with them and they do their shit and pwn whoever they're taking on like the badasses they are and then Sonya goes back to Division and Birkhoff's all relieved and they relax on the couch.



But it would be great to see Sonya out in the field, she's so adorable and scared, it would be good for her confidence I think.

The hiatus sucks between episodes. I'm hoping the ratings get adjusted up.

I need more Amanda/Nikita/Alex scenes.

Im really surprised they're gonna justify giving the show another season with these ratings and yet the other shows are on the bubble.

I get that but same time, other networks would let other shows in their 3rd season live on because of that (Happy Endings)

Also as someone who lives overseas, I dont know if Nikita has that strong an international presence like CW's other shows. Supernatural, Gossip Girl and (surpsingly) 90210 are the shows I see on most channels in Asia and Europe.

Well TCD has pulled in on Mondays what Nikita has gotten on Fridays, so they can't afford to drop it as well. Cult's DOA, TCD is flopping and 90210's going down the shitter as well. It's impossible to compare what the CW does with its shows vs what the big networks do because... it's the CW.

I'm in NZ and I have to say all of the CW's shows are treated about the same really. We finished Nikita S2 a few weeks ago, TVD's been moved all around the schedule and finally landed on Thursday nights, and Supernatural's the only other show I know of on here (although I don't keep up with it at all since I download everything I watch). But they're all on at 10:30 here so that's out of primetime; TVD used to be on at 8:30pm but I guess its ratings dropped.

I could've sworn I heard Nikita's big in Asia, which would make sense because of Maggie Q. The budget's also pretty tiny, from what I've heard.

I havent heard of Nikita being on any of the STAR network channels yet in Asia (Althought they just got Arrow) so its hard to say but its just weird they are going with the international/sydicate reasoning when I dont know if thats really happening with this show. I heard BATB just got on NZ and is doing okay (but that was according to a fanboard so idk)

CW has an overall problem in that I dont even know if the shows are doing well overall overseas except old re-runs. As a network it maybe in its last few years (And CBS co-owning is probably doing soem of the damage)

Hmmm, that is weird then. I've only ever heard about Nikita being popular in Asia, I haven't looked into the specifics tbh. And yeah, BatB just started here, wouldn't have a clue how the ratings are coz I don't watch it.

The CW is so going down, who knows how much longer it'll last. Hopefully long enough for Nikita to get its full run. ;) The upcoming schedule for next year doesn't look particularly promising.

Nikita has a terrible timeslot on Friday nights though, just look at what a difference it made to Supernatural when they got moved back to a weekday slot and now they're suddenly getting 1.0 in the demo. Other than Supernatural, The vampire diaries, and Arrow, none of their line-up would even get the numbers that Nikita does on Fridays. Beauty and the beasts is doing okaish at the moment, but IMO it would drop hard if it got moved to Nikita's old slot next season. The onlyCW shows that didn't crash and burn on that night were shows like Smallville and Supernatural which had been on for years and had very established and dedicated fan bases. You can't say that about most of the CW's current line-up really, other than the shows that are already the biggest on the network and they obviously want to keep where they are, and shows like 90210 get humiliating enough numbers in their current weekday slots, so really they have nothing else decent to air on Fridays if they do cancel Nikita.

I think that Cult and Carrie Diaries are getting like 0.3 in the demo in their first seasons lol (plus Cult not even getting a million viewers) , at least Nikita was getting 0.5 in the demo before the CW took it off for a week, and that's really not completely horrible for the CW
