Howard Stern defends Kelly Clarkson in "sickening" Clive Davis row

Howard Stern has jumped to Kelly Clarkson's defense in her recent row with Clive Davis.

Clarkson recently complained about Davis after he made a series of allegations about her in his memoir The Soundtrack of My Life.

"I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans,"
she wrote.

Davis later defended his version of events, describing it as an "accurate depiction" and adding that "five independent individuals" had fact checked the account.

However, Stern has now heaped criticism upon Davis following the controversy.

Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, he said: "I always find it sickening when management guys like to set the record straight about how f**king creative and what geniuses they are. "And this guy's trying to diminish what she does? Doesn't he have enough in life? Can't he sort of tell his story without f**king degrading her and putting her down?"

Stern added: "I think she's got an amazing voice and the girl has worked hard to get to where she is. I don't understand Clive Davis's motivation in knocking this chick down."

I never really liked that word along with "broad". They both sound so...invidious.

"Broad" seems worse than "chick" to me because it's just an adjective, whereas "chick" is at least a noun--and a living thing. But neither are all that awesome.

I'm Scottish and guys here often refer to their partners as their "bird". It's fucking awful.
