I watched Body of Lies and it was such a boring movie. Also, it felt weird to see Leo in something where he wasn't screaming for an oscar. Golshifteh Farahani's character was totally pointless, but omg she's so beautiful and should be in more things.

for animators: are there any schools in the us that's affordable? I seriously can't pay for these high end art schools.

graphic designers: is it a job you can make a decent living off of?

Not sure if my advice will be helpful bb but I studied a graphic design course that is apparently the best in my country (NZ) but I thought it was dreadful, tedious and of course, expensive. I know people who graphic design at other universities and enjoy it more than I did at mine.

I know people who feel fulfilled from just doing a one-year design/animations course instead of a 3 or 4-year degree :) As for me, I'll be studying something else now bc I realised I prefer art/design as a hobby.

i have been yelled at by about 300 people this week (i work in an apartment community) about WHY IM BOTHERING PEOPLE TO PAY THEIR RENT.

uh because, BITCH, you signed a CONTRACT that says you will.. oh i dont know.. PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME?! im sick of closing the books every month with $8,000-$13,000 outstanding RENT.

had another guy yell at me because he lost his keys and did not want to pay us the $5 we charge per key so he went to WALMART to have a copy made and they fucked it up so his key didnt work...

he flipped out on me and i just calmly listened and apologized and told him there's nothing i can do -- other than make him a key and charge him $5 for it.

the next day he barged into my office (which is in the way back of the club house and he has to walk past MY boss' office) with a check for $10 (bc he wanted 2 keys) and this:

... and this is why, at the end of the day, i DO love my job!

aww that's really sweet.

I've had jobs in customer service and at restaurants, the amount of rude ass, stupid people who yell over stuff that's their responsibility, out of your control, or WHO DON'T FUCKING READ SIGNS THAT ARE WRITTEN IN HUGE FONT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES shocked me tbh.

i can't imagine paying my rent late, so i'm sorry you have to deal w/ people who do. it baffles my mind that people can't keep their shit together enough to not keep the roof over the head secure.

I get to upgrade my phone in like two weeks! I am super excited! It's an HTC Incredible 2 (it's name is quite misleading).

I just don't know what phone to get because I don't want to spend that much money, definitely under $100 but I don't know which phone to get (I mean a Samsung Glaxay III would be great but damn that price is a no go).

iPhones seem way too fragile. I feel like everyday I see someone on the bus with a cracked iPhone.

there must be a lot of drunk bitches around, because i had my iphone for 2 years and had barely a scratch on it, i just used a basic case that covered the back and it was fine. it survived six months of being dropped on a wooden floor by the kids i looked after.

Has anyone ever asked their doctor to fill out insurance forms for them and send it to the insurance company? Cuz apparently I can do that, but it just seems like an awkward thing to ask them.....

I've had to for my secondary insurance that I have to file myself. Drop them off (or fax them over), wait for the phone call for when they're ready, then pick them up. Your doctors office won't think it's awkward. They probably employ an office manager who has that in their job description.

The doctors I work with fill out insurance/tax credit forms ALL the time. It's common. Just be careful, some charge fees for paperwork.
