E-Poll Market Research regularly asks thousands of people what they think of different celebrities, ranking them on attributes such as awareness, appeal and 44 other attributes. To create the list, Forbes turned to E-Poll Market Research which ranks more than 7,500 celebrities on 46 different personality attributes based on their polling data of Americans.
Can You Guess Who American's Stan For?!
Denzel Washington
When they narrowed that list down to the current crop of 20 Oscar nominees, Washington, who is nominated for Flight, and Robert De Niro, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Silver Linings Playbook, rose to the top.
Each star earns a perfect 100 E-Score which is a composite measure that weighs relative marketing effectiveness of each celebrity. We give Washington the slight edge because he scores higher on appeal than De Niro.

cuz really, shes just seen as the harmless girl in the princess diaries and devil wears prada and the new sexy departure as catwoman. and well now, les mis.
Look at the list in this post. While I think this list of people is great, I find it a shame christoph was too low to rank. You know if ontd or somewhere else on the Internet was polled, the list would not look like this. The general public knows much more of the filmography of the people in this list than say, Jessica chastain. They know her for zero dark thirty and maybe some will recognize she was the blonde in the help, but they don't know wtf tree of life is or is scrambling to see her play. why is Bradley cooper on this list and not Jennifer Lawrence? I feel it safe to assume on average an older demographic was polled. A lot of women find bcoop sexy while ontd may not.
