Oscar Stars' Most Embarrassing Roles

Anne Hathaway, Bride Wars (2009)
She may be sitting pretty as a frontrunner nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her heart-wrenching portrayal of Fantine in 2012's epic Les Miserables, but just three years prior, Hathaway was tugging at wedding dresses with on-screen frenemy Kate Hudson in rom-com Bride War

Re: AnnE, I though it would be that movie where she spoke with a really bad English accent. I actually tried to get through it, but I just couldn't.

that movie was great! And she acted well, to me

Bride Wars pissed me off soooo much.

BUT OMG AT THIS FLINTSTONES SHADE. IDTS.
squishinator 21st-Feb-2013 11:07 pm (UTC)
bride wars was horrible wtf @ people here defending it. the concept was dumb as fuck and both girls were self centered, unlikable bitches. Like really neither of you can reschedule your wedding for the next month is it THAT serious to lose your best friend over?
derpmaid 22nd-Feb-2013 12:55 pm (UTC)
I haven't even seen it, but that's been my thought process every time I've heard of it. Either make it a fun double wedding thing, or reschedule (both of you, to make it "fair").

It just seems like a movie based on the sexist and misogynistic stereotype (which Hollywood truly seems to believe sometimes) that no women actually get along and that all of us actually hate each other and will gladly stab our "friends" in the back.

Women being friends? What's that? Hollywood does not know! Ugh.

Seriously, that movie was bullshit.
faithgrowsold 21st-Feb-2013 11:39 pm (UTC)
There really was so much awful going on in that film, but the ending when they make up always makes me cry. ):
