Amber Rose going into labor!

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa should be welcoming their child to the world very soon. If Twitter is to be believed, Rose is in labor right now.

Khalifa posted a photo captioned "Daddy Time" to his Instagram account and it appears that he's in the hospital with his muse at the moment.

He's presumably helping her give birth or doing whatever it is men do when their better halves are trying to push a human being out of their private parts.

We'll update this post as we get more information, obviously.

I'm guessing her home birth didn't go as planned? :(
fabouluz 21st-Feb-2013 09:20 pm (UTC)
Probably the baby was in the wrong position, or she was overdue.

d00ditsemily 21st-Feb-2013 09:30 pm (UTC)
She said she was due on the 24th of Feb. and there are many ways to reposition a baby that a doula or a midwife would help with.
sonolola 21st-Feb-2013 11:24 pm (UTC)
If he's in scrubs, she's having a c-section.
fabouluz 21st-Feb-2013 09:19 pm (UTC)

burn_a_miracle 21st-Feb-2013 09:39 pm (UTC)
Ikr? Like, congrats you're so edgy and cool cause you don't like kids and you think pregnant women look weird.

Then they brag about being a feminist in another post. I can't.
awkwardmumbles 21st-Feb-2013 09:47 pm (UTC)
yeah i always feel awkward bringing up the fact that i'm a mom all the time but it's my reality lol there should be an ontd_moms club. there would be like 5 people plus meggiebooboos alter ego but still
sugarless_girl 21st-Feb-2013 11:10 pm (UTC)
Literally the only thing that scares me about pregnancy/labour is that there's a good chance that I could have twins, soooo I'm in no hurry.
ledgers 21st-Feb-2013 09:38 pm (UTC)
I would like to hear it tbh but I understand if you don't want to share it
quotidian_quire 21st-Feb-2013 09:48 pm (UTC)
I'm with you on both counts. I had a horrible birthing experience too.
megedeborch 21st-Feb-2013 09:57 pm (UTC)
Ugh, whenever I read a pregancy/birth on ONTD, they're a mess, I always feel sorry for the mums in here. Maybe just spam the inbox of haters with the stories? ;)

When I was in labor with my son, my husband at the time, got McDonald's and brought it back and was eating it. I was only allowed ice chips. I had security remove him.

hollis1975 21st-Feb-2013 10:25 pm (UTC)
ikr? asking if they can watch tv or some shit. HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE? OMG YOU ARE MOVING SO MUCH ITS MAKING IT HARD TO SLEEP WITH ALL THE MOVING NOISE YOU ARE MAKING. oh fuck you mr penis owner.

sorry for the mini rant
karebear82 21st-Feb-2013 10:30 pm (UTC)
My husband was pretty great during my labor (he mostly just stayed out of the way) but I kept laughing at the horrified faces he would make when he looked down and saw the head. The dr. had absolutely no clue how to react when my husband wouldn't take the scissors to cut the cord. Apparently dads dont refuse that very often?
tenaciousrei 21st-Feb-2013 10:32 pm (UTC)
My ex was great during labor but totally useless after. Wish it had been the other way around, lol.
blevo81 22nd-Feb-2013 12:07 am (UTC)
My husband was playing on his phone whilst I was having serious contractions. He asked what else am I supposed to do? Comfort me you bastard, I'm birthing your spawn!!
goldengal1193 21st-Feb-2013 09:21 pm (UTC)

brucelynn 21st-Feb-2013 09:23 pm (UTC)
Hope all goes well for them !!!

lemmonsugar 21st-Feb-2013 09:24 pm (UTC)
I always assumed celebrities had C-sections, I never thought a celebrity would bother pushing a baby out of their vagina lol
brucelynn 21st-Feb-2013 09:25 pm (UTC)
I am not sure if you can get a c-section that easily ... it might be different these days idk
awkwardmumbles 21st-Feb-2013 09:27 pm (UTC)
i feel like a lot of celebs get the doc to use a bs excuse such as "the head is too big for the canal" so they can have one.
d00ditsemily 21st-Feb-2013 09:29 pm (UTC)
A lot of doctor's prefer c-sections since they can be scheduled sadly
theotherqueen 21st-Feb-2013 09:43 pm (UTC)
You can get a c-section very easily. If you don't want to do a natural birth, you can schedule an elective c-section.
emmakey 22nd-Feb-2013 02:44 am (UTC)
Neither of my OBs, but I have friends who've been told that they can schedule an elective C, where they could literally ask for it. A lot of hospitals are instituting polices to reduce the number of C-sections.
burn_a_miracle 21st-Feb-2013 09:28 pm (UTC)
It should be the other way around tbh. I've read that your uterus shrinks down to normal size quicker with vaginal birth. Everything just bounces back easier.
soul_amazinn 21st-Feb-2013 09:34 pm (UTC)
it seems like most celebs have c sections.

your body heals quicker if you push it out though idk why anyone would choose a c section.
im_chris_hansen 21st-Feb-2013 09:39 pm (UTC)
i think that in this pop culture is news society, we're just more aware of when celebs are pregnant, their EXACT due date, and they'er willing to sell their birth tales for cash. just the "awareness" makes it feel like there are more
noneformethanx 21st-Feb-2013 10:16 pm (UTC)
Some doctors are pushy about c-sections so they can charge insurance more money. I had a vaginal birth with both my kids (they were both 8 pounds). And they tried to push me to get c-section. One didn't want to miss his golf game. I told him to fuck off and got another doctor
a_new_haven 22nd-Feb-2013 12:40 am (UTC)
Judging by the mask and gown, she's having a c-section.
blevo81 22nd-Feb-2013 01:18 am (UTC)
Isnt cause they all have herpes? Idk
