I wish it were easy to tell who is a predator and who isn't, but it's not. It's so terrifying that we have to help guide children through a world filled with dishonest, predatory people. Even if we educate them and urge them to be communicative with us, we have to suspect and question every motive in an attempt to try and protect them, and even then we can't be sure we will. It's just so, so sad.
