While I disagree politically with Card -and a lot of his new stuff, especially Enderverse, is bleh - I still love the novel Ender's Game, I still admire his writing style, and I still want to go to Uncle Orson's Literary Bootcamp some day before he dies.
I HATE that he is bigoted - I do, because I love so many of his novels. I understand that he's old old old and religiously conservative, and I have to respect his right to those beliefs. I maybe don't like his as much, and I view some of his "progressive" characters as homophobic caricatures now, but damnit...
