Also, it kinda blows my mind she's been performing for what, 5 years and her voice still sounds so weak and unsure live. I know her range isn't the best but still, homegirl should've learned by now.

honestly she's fine. if you see her in concert she doesn't sound weak or unsure. it's just award shows idk why she doesn't sound as good on award shows than she does in concert.

I find that a lot of singers do not sound good on TV but then you hear they're good live. I think the sound stuff from TV filming makes is a little wonky.

Her actual voice has gotten noticeably stronger over the last few years, but there's no covering up a naturally thin voice, sadly. People who've seen her in concert say she's better, but that makes sense since you're in an arena full of people you already know like you.

She's also singing a wider variety of songs, including songs that better suit her vocal abilities. Make no mistake she still sounds awful on some of the bigger songs even in concert, but she sings a lot of songs that she can sing well so it balances.
